Information on rules for entering Italy and vaccination certificates, both for EU and non-EU travellers, can be found on the Italian Ministry of Health website.
In particular, it is confirmed that all travellers must the fill out the Passenger locator form before entering Italy.
Concerning the required vaccination certificates, travellers departing from USA, Japan, Canada and Israel can enter Italy if they are in possession of the certificates issued by their respective countries, which can be presented in paper or digital format. Additional requirements are foreseen for people departing from other countries (please also check the Italian Ministry of Health website for the complete lists of other countries and their dedicated sections).
